Mediability Norway AS

The three companies Video4, AVIT-Systems and Mediateket have a new, common majority owner: the Norwegian Rieber family’s investment company Atlantis Vest. All companies have been providers of equipment, solutions and services to the Scandinavian media production market for years.

Mediability consist of four companies: Video4 and AVIT-Systems will be merged in all countries, as Mediability Norway, Mediability Sweden and Mediability Denmark. Mediability will continue to focus on products, equipment and system delivery. Mediateket will remain a separate unit within the group, and changes its name to Mediateket Consulting. Mediateket Consulting will become a purebred independent consultancy company.

The Mediability group will be able to offer a considerably broader range of services to new and existing customers. The three companies had a joint turnover for 2015 of just under 300 million Norwegian kroner and employ just over 70 people. This allows Mediability to become an even better partner for customers looking for service providers with substance and stability.

Mediability Norway will be situated in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim. Mediability Sweden is located in Stockholm while Mediability Denmark will have offices in Copenhagen and Aalborg. Mediateket Consulting will be located outside Oslo, in Sandvika. The operative leaders for the different units will remain as they are today, regardless of the name change. Trond Valvik, Investment Director at Atlantis Vest, will be leading it during a transition period.
